After producing the first lightweight drysuit, Typhoon made yet another exciting breakthrough. In the Tracer they have a drysuit of exceptional comfort. Wear it all day and after a short whil you'll forget you've got it on.
Typhoon's continual quest for comfort and freedom of movement has been made possible by the discovery of a totally new fabric - CLO-TEX(R). A trilaminate material with a Butyl rubber waterproof membrane sandwiched between a strong yet soft polymer.
This ultra comfort is also enhanced by the way the Trancer is made. The back zip is positioned high on the shoulders keeping it clear of the cylinders and compared to the conventional back zips you hardly know it's there. It takes little practice to master the art of closing the zip unassisted.
The seams on all Typhoon Tracer suits are now double taped internally for security and each suit must pass Typhoon's own regorous submersion test before leaving the factory.
Special polyurethane reinforcement provides added protection from wear to the knees, seat and cylinder strap area on the shoulders.
